Please read in full the below terms and conditions.
I, the applicant, understand that:
1. There is a selection process for acceptance to exhibit.
2. Applications will close on Thursday 11 April 2019.
3. I will be informed of my successful/unsuccessful selection by email by Monday 22 April 2019 and must respond that I have received this mail.
If my application is successful, I will pay the R250 by Thursday 25 April via eft.
I may submit up to 10 works, maximum size A2. If I wish to exhibit larger works, I must contact the organisers beforehand.
I understand that the organisers will handle the sales, take a 30% commission, and pay me the remaining 70% of the sales price by the end of May 2019. On receiving my successful application notification, I agree to give the organisers my bank details for payment of sales.
I will prepare my own artworks for exhibiting to the organisers’ specs, and will undertake the costs to deliver the works to a johannesburg location on a specified date (by hand or courier).
Should my final submitted work be radically different from that used for this application process, I understand that the organisers reserve the right to cancel my participation in FAP19. Under these circumstances, I understand that the R250 pop-up fee is non-refundable.
If my application is successful, I will pay R1 000 FAP19 onlinefair fee by Thursday 25 April via EFT.
I will submit the content to be loaded onto my virtual stand by Friday 26 April 2019. The 12 images and their details must be to the organisers’ specs, and will be loaded as such with no digital alterations. I understand that any artwork images in my virtual stand ‘gallery’ will be right-click lo-res protected to prevent unauthorised use.
I will provide sufficient written content to the organisers’ suggestions to allow for an informative page. I give the organisers permission to undertake light editing of my written content to maintain professional standards (grammar, spelling, sentence construction).
I understand that my professional contact details will be placed on my virtual stand; that I will retain my own work and will be responsible for my own sales, for all negotiations with the purchaser, and for the organising of packaging and delivery of the work to the purchaser.
At any time during the 12-month period, I undertake to inform the organisers should any of the exhibiting works become unavailable or should their price change. If I don’t inform of price changes, I will be obliged to sell the work at the exhibited online price.
I agree to give the organisers of the FAP19 onlinefair a 10% honesty commission on sales that directly result from the onlinefair.
I understand that this will not be monitored and will be left to my discretion.
Should my final submitted work be radically different from that used for this application process, I understand that the organisers reserve the right to cancel my participation in FAP19. Under these circumstances, I understand that only 50% of the FAP19 onlinefair fee of R1 000 will be refunded to me. The remaining 50% of the onlinefair fee will be retained to cover the organisers’ admin costs.
By submitting this form, I therby submit my application and agree to the abovementioned terms and conditions.
